Presently in Macomb, IL with Andy and Brandon as Brandon is doing his registration for Fall semester at Western Illinois Univ. Andy and I brought our bikes with and took off on a 24 mile bike ride to Argyle State Park and back. Folks down this way much more friendly to bikers on the road. Will return home Friday and begin prep for 48 hour ride next week.
Thoughts are on Marcia as she treks across IL with the IL COPS group in their annual memorial ride that ends in Chicago on Sunday. COPS is the first group I rode for in JAN 07 so they’ll always have a special place in my memory of rides past.. Marcia paid tribute to Ristow and myself recently for getting her trained to pull that ride off. Long hot days lie ahead for that group. Also, thanks to Connie who’s watching Chippy for me till I return. Best wishes out to Larissa who is resting after a recent hospital stay. Hope to have her back on the crew when she’s ready. Bobby is at CFL and will resume his training regimen upon his return. Boys and I are also looking at heading to Boundary Waters second week of August and only after i knock down the upcoming 48 and a 60 prior to leaving….good to be out of town for this overnight and spend time w/the boys. Jeff Quinn, a client of mine is from Macomb and filled me in on the quaint town before I got here….its nice here and I enjoyed seeing the campus today w/Brandon. Andy and I finished our ride at the stadium and did “floorwork” on the field. Well its late and I have an early morning…..bye for now.
i am the best in malta but Mr hood is a god in the world going for 70hr in november on the 17th in activezone fitness club doing for kides. going of to london tomorrow for 30hr indoor cycling because malta is to hot.
it will verey good if Mr hood can come to malta and do some time with me.
