The new venue is prep’ed for tonight’s ride. We are really looking forward to all the opportunities this new venue will provide for us. There is a HUGE buzz of anticipation in the air regarding the new venue as folks have stopped by today to see the new location and assist with the setup of the venue. We anticipate that we will continue to see this groundswell of support and enthusiasm as we move forward. People are genuinely excited about all the possibilities that this move gives us.
Please remember that we are still in the process of adapting and outfitting the venue to our needs so as George said, we don’t have everything completely setup and outfitted yet, but we are open for business and REALLY looking forward to seeing all of our supporters over this long ride.
This will be the longest ride to date for George as he preps for the ultimate goal of 300 hours. (Think about this…most of us will go to sleep and wake up twice while George is completing this training ride) This is also the 2nd to the last long training ride (we will only have the 40 hour ride left after George completes this ride). We are approaching the finish line for the training portion of this campaign. I really want thank all of you who have consistently come out and supported George. He could not have gotten this far without all of your assistance and support.
That being said we really would like to see a lot of people at the venue this weekend. We want to move forward getting stronger with larger crowds to assist and support in the ride, so please feel free to come by this weekend , bring a friend, talk up the ride to those you know, and help us christen the new venue as well as support George as he trains during his 36 hour long ride!
